Another Sunday funday over here and I thank you for checking in. I'm here to share this past week's favorite breakfast recipe + give you a brief walk down my educational memory lane.

This past week we were thinking that overnight oats would be fun for a change  as we have been on such a bar craze lately. Since Bella + I both love peanut butter + bananas this recipe from the Beaming Baker seemed like the perfect option for us to try. Demeter's website is full of amazing, easy-to-make recipes that we really enjoy, so if you try this one and love it- definitely check out more on her site!

I mentioned that I was going to give you a brief walk down my educational memory lane, but I didn't share why. One thing that I most often say to people in conversation is, "together we rise." There is so much significance to those three words to me which is why I say them in pretty much any situation.

Lately I've been in a season of people asking things about what I do for a living that are rather silly to me, but they are a common reality. For me, starting a business that revolved around bracelets was met with a lot of skepticism... and people still question it to this day. “Didn’t you go to Business School at UWM?” is a question I am asked with a concerned tone of disbelief that this was the path I chose.

Nine years later and I’m still meeting people out and about, getting a follow-up response in the tone of... “Oh, so what’s your full-time job? What does your husband do?“ I just smile, and it makes me feel so much gratitude for all the support my business has from people all over the country, even if some don’t get it.

Infinite Warrior is now in over 60+ boutiques, salons, yoga studios, and many other fun retail locations. I promise you that if you have a passion for something and are willing to work for it, you can make it happen!

Looking back at all of the education that I had, each part of the journey was significant. The most influential and impactful though were the four years I spent at my high school. They truly shaped me into the person that I am. Why? I think it has a lot to do with the people that I was surrounded by. From that time, I've intentionally put myself in situations where I was around incredible people. It's obvious to me that by doing just that, I've continued to challenge myself for the better by spending time with all of these pace setters. I encourage you to do the same!

So here we are nine years later and I’m still having fun. I look forward to the rest of the years to come, and together we rise!

Love + light,

Maria

P.S. If you're wondering what my educational history looks like, here it is. Since I'm one of those people that loves to learn, I'm confident in saying that I know that I'm not done yet. Also note that Catholic Memorial's motto that I've recently picked up on is, "we rise together." Imagine that.
